A great deal of disscusion and analysis exists on the economies of energy and environment. However , the human aspects of energy and environment are understudied. This seminar conducted by three eminent researchers in the area of energy, environment and population will explore the implications of energy and environmental policies on human economies.

Speakers
Michael Trachtenberg, PhD.: Michael is Managing Director and CTO OF Greenhouse Gas Industries,LLC. and has been a principal investigator and research director for over 30 years. He is the author of over 120 papers, books and abstracts and has received three patents in addition to a number of patent applications currently under review. He regularly presents at national and international scientific / technical meetings.

Scott Hutchins: Scott works at the U.S. Dept.of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy where he specializes in partnership development and technology deployment. Hutchins has been involved in the renewable energy field since 1999.

Richard Jackson,PhD.: Richard is a senior fellow at the center for Strategic and International Studies(CSIS), where he directs the Global Aging Initiative, a research program that explores the economic, social and geopolitical implications of demographic trends in the United States and around the world.
